We’ve tried to keep things as simple and stress-free as possible. We’ve secured accommodation at the venue, within walking distance of the barn! This means everyone can relax, party, and not worry about taxis or logistics.
If you’re able to join us, we kindly ask for a contribution of £275 per person, which covers:
* Two nights’ accommodation
* Evening meal on Wednesday
* Breakfast on Friday
Of course, everything on the wedding day is taken care of, bar a few pennies for bevs, we’ve got you well covered!
Accommodation payments can be made anytime between now and 1st February 2027, which is hopefully plenty of time. If you’d prefer to pay via bank transfer, just let us know and we’ll share the details.

Getting there
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
If you’re travelling via the M6, leave the motorway at Junction 44 (Carlisle) if you’re coming from the south, or Junction 45 if you’re coming from the north, and then follow signs towards Dalston. From there, it’s a scenic, and increasingly rural drive out towards Cumwhitton, and then Longtown, where you’ll find The Hidden River Barn waiting for you.
The postcode should take you right there but just in case, the trusty What3Words location is ///desiring.field.agreed
A quick heads-up: phone signal around the venue is a little shy. If you’re going old school, you can do as Ellie’s Gampy would, and use a map.
If you’re coming up the M6, do yourself a favour and stop at Tebay Services. This is not your average motorway pit stop. It’s the best service station in the UK, and you won’t regret it.
